Sailors assigned to the USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) had the opportunity to tour the Hampton Roads Naval Museum and the decommissioned Iowa-Class Battleship USS Wisconsin (BB 64). The tour was coordinated by the Ford’s First Class Petty Officers Association (FCPOA), and allowed the sailors to learn about the region’s naval history. The Hampton Roads Naval Museum is one of ten US Navy museums under the Naval History and Heritage Command.
