Manchester Pride is an annual festival celebrating Manchester's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender culture and life. It attracts thousands of visitors to the city. It takes place over the August bank holiday weekend every year, with events including the Gay Village Party, Youth and Family Pride events, a human rights rally, the candlelit vigil and the annual parade.
