Bonnet macaque (Macaca radiata) yawning. Male bonnet macaque yawning and baring its teeth. This monkey is so-named because of the bonnet-shaped patch of hair on its head. It reaches a body length of between 35 and 60 centimetres. It eats ripe fruits, leaves and insects, and lives in groups in evergreen and deciduous forests. Photographed in Tamil Nadu, India.
