Construction of Mountain Bike Trail
Salida, Colorado - A crew from the Southwest Conservation Corps studies trail building techniques before starting to work building a new mountain bike trail on land administered by the Bureau of Land Management. Modeled after the Civilian Conservation Corps of the 1930s, the nonprofit Southwest Conservation Corps places youth crews in conservation projects throughout the southwest United States. The organization is a partner of the national Americorps program.
