Andrew Mitchell Jnr (Scotland) came 2nd overall, having been placed 2nd in both the grassland and stubble competition) at the 57th World Ploughing Competition, held at Methven, nr Christchurch in New Zealand in April 2010. Andrew, sponsored by Agricar, was the only competitor in the conventional section to use a Dowdeswell plough rather than the more popular Kverneland.
