One of them is ‘Arghya’. In this ritual, the devotee is making the offerings (Arghya) to the God Sun in river made in two day. On the eve of Chhath is mad the evening offerings (Sandhya Arghya ) to the setting sun and on the final day of Chhath festival, the devotees, along with family and friends, go to the riverbank before sunrise, to make the morning offerings (Usha Arghya) to the rising sun. According to source Chhath is one of an ancient Hindu Vedic festival of India. The festival is historically native to eastern Uttar Pradesh, North Bihar of India and Mithila State of Nepal. The Chhath festival dedicated to the Sun God and his wife Usha (dawn).
