As diagnostic signs theyrepresent a grave disease of the kidneys. 6. False Cylinders and Cylindroids (Plate 32) can, under cer-tain circumstances, be mistaken for real cylinders. Mucous shredsmay most easily and frequently be mistaken for hyaline to the differential diagnosis I refer to the text
