An air gun with turn-off butt stock, Potsdam, middle of the 18th century. Round, turn-off copper barrel with a smooth bore in 9 mm calibre. Covered with wood to look like a walking stick. Brass sleeve with front sight on the muzzle. Iron receiver with an exterior cock and valve lever. The chamber is signed, "Hartwich a Potsdam". Brass side plate and trigger guard. Vertical valve lever with a screw fastened nose for the cock. Screw-on, iron butt stock air reservoir in the shape of a stepped stock with leather covering (some restoration).
