Uses.—Kaniala (formerly called Rottlerd) is a highly-esteemedtcBniacide in India, and has been introduced into Europe andour own country. Dose of the powder, 5j-ij, suspended insyrup. A tincture (Svj to alcohol Oj) is given in the dose off 5j-iv. Castor oil should be taken after the medicine. PEPO PUMPKIN-SEED. Dose, Sj-ij of fresh seeds, de-prived of their outer envelope, beaten to a paste with finely-powdered sugar, and diluted with water or milk, may be takenafter a twenty-four hours fast, and followed in two or threehours by a dose of castor oil.
