June 23, 2012. A rider navigates her horse through a jumper ring at a horse show in Ontario Canada. Horse shows incompass many different types of equine events including, dressage, hunters, jumpers, equitation, barrel racing and team penning. An early form of show jumping first appeared in the Olympics Games in 1900. Show jumping in its current form appeared in 1912 and remains a popular event through to today.
