I took this long exposure in Sanya, Hainan, China on a trip with friends. I looked everywhere for a good spot to take this shot.

This was a very interesting night. I knew I wanted a picture of the buildings. I just didn't know where I needed to get that perfect angle. The island is basically inaccessible because it's only for the customers staying at this luxurious hotel. So I couldn't get in of course. But I managed to walk all around the coast surrounding this view until I found the perfect angle. Using the rule of thirds to take my picture, I'm really happy with the results.
