Recruits of Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, perform ammunition can lifts during a combat fitness test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Sept. 20. Recruits had to perform as many lifts as they could with a 30-pound ammunition can within two minutes. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Golf Company is scheduled to graduate Nov. 21.
