Temples there were already in greatnumber, such as were built in the early days, when forced laborAvas the usage and the crime. Bat they were Hindu buildings,and could well be subsidized to add splendor and beauty to themosque. The legend is, however, that the mosque was builtmiraculously, in two days and a half.
