Angeles was recognized for his leadership and professionalism as he stepped into fulfil the role as the Mathies Noncommissioned Officer Academy faculty development supervisor, where he currently leads six peers and serves as a liaison for 12 bases across the United States. He was instrumental in the success of the MNCOA first dual-modality course, where he retooled eight processes for student registration in which compliance skyrocketed from 68% to 95% during its first rollout. This directly led to saving one hour for 110 students and 10 instructors during Day 1 in-processing. He also streamlined an internal process for the Master Instructor Program application process, resulting the first MNCOA instructor receiving the badge. Finally, Angeles compiled results and data from three end of course surveys, which resulted in multiple changes to enhance the student experience. More recently, he leveraged his technical skills to support the Chief Recognition Ceremony, working as the light engineer for the event.
