Kandel, Germany. 7th April 2018. A protester reads some of the newspaper article about alleged refugee crimes that have been printed out and hung on a rope. Around 500 people from right-wing organisations protested in the city of Kandel in Palatinate against refugees, foreigners and the German government. They called for more security of Germans and women from the alleged increased violence by refugees. The place of the protest was chosen because of the 2017 Kandel stabbing attack, in which a 15 year old girl was killed by an asylum seeker. Credit: Michael Debets/Alamy Live News
