Needs careful spraying with Bordeaux to prevent black rot. Origin: seedling raised by E. S. Rogers, Salem, Mass. Vine: vigorous; susceptible to attacks of black rot; self sterile. Bunch: medium size; shouldered; loose, fruit does not always set. Berky' : size medium ; form round; color brownish red. Flesh: texture tender, juicy; flavor sweet, vinous. Quality : dessert very good. Value : not profitable tor market.
