Ilidža, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina - May 2023: Crkvina near the village of Vrutci, the remains of a pre-romanesque church and mediaeval burial ground. The site is a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina. There are more than 70,000 of Stećak tombstones in Bosnia and in the neighbouring regions of Serbia, Montenegro and Croatia. Thousands are monumental in size and decorated with patterns and figurative depictions, around 400 bear inscriptions.
