Eich pea-green foliage, very dwarf and compact habit, flowers large, of a rich crimson scarlet, shaded with orange. A free-blooming and attraotivt- sort which should be in every collection. 30 ets. Ehemanni. The most distinct of all C'annas on account of its large oval soft green leaves and carmine-red flow- ers, which are produced on long flower stems; each of the smaller branches bears about 12 flowers. Tht- flowers are as large as a Gladiolus, and are used advantage in bouquet-making. This is one of the luii-t striking and desirable Canuas ever introduced, and cannot be too highly recommended. 40 cts. each. Nouttoni. Is quite distinct from Ehemanni in coloring, being a rich shade of crimson scarlet. The flowers are very large, growing erect instead of drooping. The foliage is of a beautiful bluisli green, growing very compact and remarkably free-flowering, forming nearly solid masses of rich, warm coloring. The plant doe^ not exceed 6 feet in height. 40 cts. each. Rosaeflora. Foliage bluish green, flowers rich carmine rose; a profuse bloomer. 40 cts. each. Robusta Perfeeta. A most distinct and handsome sort. bearing immense leaves 12 to 18 inches wide and 'i feer long, of a bright bronze-red color. Tlie habit of the plant is very robust; in rich soil it will attain a height of S feet and at a short distance a|)|)ear like the Abyssinian Banana. Unlike the other varieties, it flowers but little.
