As the bird stands with its wings folded not a coloured feather should be discernible in these parts. Sometimes one thigh is of similar colour to the body, sometimes both. This is called foul-thighed, which is a grievous fault. The Pearl Eye is another point to be carried. The iris round the pupils should be of a silvery white or pearl.
