London UK. 16th December 2017. An exterior view of the new American Embassy at Nine Elms in London is set to open on 16 January 2018 ahead Donald Trumps' state visit to the UK. The 12-story cube shape embassy building designed by KieranTimberlake is reportedly the most expensive embassy ever built estimated at a cost of one billion US dollars (£750m).
