A new coal-fired power station under construction by RWE, Neurath, Grevenbroich, North Rhine Westphalia, Germany.
RWE the German utility company is building a new 2200 megawatt coal-fired power station in the Grevenbroich/Neurath region near Cologne. The plant will cost billion Euro's creating 4000 jobs and take four years to build, coming online at the end of 2009. In the future the BoA 2 and 3 plant will replace the older stations nearby and will produce 30% less carbon dioxide.
