Farrar, 15 Apr 1918. A concert by soprano opera singer Geraldine Farrar (1882-1967) which was part of the Women's War Relief Association's Liberty Theater in front of the New York Public Library at 5th Avenue and 42nd Street in New York City. Performances and speeches were held to appeal to the public to buy Liberty bonds. The theater was part of the Third Liberty Loan drive, which was held from April 6, 1918 to May 4, 1918 during World War I.
