Used Dunlop slick tyres. Close-up of the wear-and-tear on slick tyres used at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, an endurance race that takes place over 24 hours at the Circuit de la Sarthe, Le Mans, France. The competing cars have their tyres changed as they wear out, and to adapt to different weather conditions. Slick tyres do not have grooves and are used in dry conditions. These Dunlop tyres were used in the 2016 race. Photographed on 19 June 2016.
