They thentook part in the grand parade, and after decorating the grave oftheir late colonel and comrade, were escorted to the State House,and subsequently to the rink, where a bountiful collation awaitedthem. M. train, and weremet upon their arrival by the Second Fire Zouaves, who made agrand pyrotechnic display, and were escorted to their rooms in EighthStreet, where a marching salute was paid to Farnham Post as theypassed. The boys spoke very highly of their treatment in NewHaven, and only regretted that they did not have more time at theirdisposal. It required ten cars to convey the delegation, there being450 men in line, including two bands of music. Mr. Crane was o:the occasion of this parade again unanimously elected XIII.
