Pompe a Feu du Gros Caillou
The view taken in 1828, shows the Pompe a Feu du Gros Caillou which is a hydraulic erection by the Messrs Perrier to supply water to the houses and fountains of Paris on the left bank of the Seine. It is situated on the Quai des Invalides. The foundation stone was laid by the Prevot des Marchands. The image was drawn by W Price under the direction of A Pugin and engraved by R Fenner
