There was no manifestation of any spe-cial lesion in her case until some six months after the operation, when it wasdiscovered that she was gradually losing the sight of both eyes. She com-plained of everything looking smoky and dark. I presented her to our Statemeeting at Springfield, O., 1910, and on examination we found that she hadtraumatic cataract. My friend, Dr. Green, of Dayton, removed the lensesafter his method of the Smith operation, and the patient now has good eye-sight and good health. In Fig. 5 the exposition of the size of the tissues removed are mademanifest by the engraving of the tumor,
