Lectures on ectopic pregnancy and pelvic haematocele . m but no distinct tumour could be feltabove, and I agreed with INIr. Hallwright as to the nature of thelesion. I saw the patient again in consultation withMr. Hall Wright and Dr. James Johnson and again I declined toact upon Mr. Hallwrights request, and a further hemorrhagekilled the patient. A post-mortem examination revealed theperfect accuracy of the diagnosis. I carefully injected thespecimen which was removed, and I found that if I had tiedthe broad ligament and removed the ruptured tube I should havecompletely arrested the ha3morrhage, and I now believe that hadI done this the patients life would have been saved.
