Conjoined twins Lazarus and Joannes Baptista Colloredo

Conjoined twins Lazarus and Joannes Baptista Colloredo were born in Genoa, Italy in 1617. Lazarus and his parasitic conjoined conjoined twin Joannes Baptista traveled all over Europe, and Lazarus was granted a license to exhibit in England, where he was presented to Charles I. Joannes Baptista grew out of his brother's chest. He did not eat or speak, but moved and cried out when pinched, which audiences were encouraged to do. They lived at least until 1646, and Lazarus prospered financially, at the expense of his unfortunate brother.
