He says always use a ring or chain oil feedwhenever possible, where oil can be recovered and used again. Buying in tank cars and limiting to three gradeshas been one strong factor in squeezing down costs. At Port Edwards the company owns a large part of thetown, while at Nekoosa they sold at a nominal price to theemployees. Water, light, and schools are provided atnominal rates and partly free.
