This shield may beeasily constructed to suit any special requirements. PORTABLE GRINDERS For heavy castings or large objects, a portablegrinding apparatus is most useful. This simple de-vice consists of a flexible shaft equipped with a pul-ley at one end and a spindle at the other extremityfor a polishing or grinding wheel. The pulley endis anchored to the floor. A round belt, passing be-tween a grooved line shaft pulley and the anchoredpulley, drives the polishing or grinding wheel.
