The parish church of Socorro (Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Socorro), built in 1956. The statue in the fountain is Hercules, with loins and the pillars of Hercules behind him. Ronda, Andalucia, Spain. The plaza was known as Plaza del General Franco, after Spains transition to democracy was renamed in 1981 and plaques honouring Franco were also removed at this time.
