Paterson's Curse or Salvation Jane flowers in the campground at Warrumbungles National Park, Coonabarabran, New South Wales

Sheep and cattle farmers call it Paterson's Curse but beekeepers call it Salvation Jane. Regardless of the name, it is an invasive weed that causes significant problems in some national parks and other conservation areas. Large fields of the attractive purple flowers are particularly picturesque.
