Moab has long been famed for the perfection of itsfruits which find a ready market in the mining camps of WesternColorado and elsewhere. Green River is a navigable stream and numerous small craftsmake use of the waters. In good time larger boats will no doubt gointo service to handle the fruit and other shipments which increasedsettlement will supply- Then there will be no more pleasant tripthan down this picturesque and interesting Denver & Rio Grande Railroad Bridge over the Green City of Moab in the distance. Green River is the largest navigable river in the Rocky Mountain region, and affordsabundant water for irrigating an extensive agricultural district.
