An opening nill of course haveto be made in this shutter to recei\ethe Kodak holding frame as will appearin the following diagrams : Figure i illustrates the frame forholding the Kodak when used as anenlarging camera. This frame is sim-ply a shelf with a projection to hold theKodak and negati\e firmly in position,and can easily be construcled with thesimplest tools. The shutter to exclude light from __the window, and to which the holdingframe is attached need be of wood onlywhere the frame is attached, the re-mainder of the window may be blockedup with hea\y press board or opaquecloth held in position with Kodak pushpins. This will lessen the expense and alsoand removal of the frame.
