Oakland, Calif., December 19, 2013 The Oakland Firefighters Random Acts Initiative got a big boost from FEMA Region IX this holiday season. Regional employees exceeded last year's donations with a contribution of over 200 toys and stuffed animals. The gifts will be distributed to needy families, shelters, Oakland Children's Hospital, Head Start programs, and survivors of accidents and fires across the City.
