The leather on the lid is decorated with a border of pressed and gilded floral scrolls. Geometric decorations are pressed on the box. Both the box and the lid are finished on the inside with paper on which English text is printed. A woven strap is attached to the lid and box on the left to prevent the lid from opening too far. The box can be closed with a click lock and opened
