South western end of Fonthill house. Three story tower with double rows of high arched windows on every floor. Small concrete staircase leads up to terrace on ground floor on north side of tower. Grassy foreground. Fonthill is a unique poured concrete house created during the Art and Crafts movement designed and built by Henry Mercer. The house boasts 44 rooms 18 fireplaces 32 stairwells and more than 200 windows and was completed 1912. It is now a National Historic Landmark.
