The Carousel, Central Park, New York. Central Park. Carousel at The Dairy. This Victorian Gothic building, designed by Vaux and erected in 1870, is the park information center and souvenir shop, although it was not always so. Called "milk" this building children came looking for fresh milk to meet their basic needs until a cholera outbreak and a series of scandals ended this practice. Near the place there is a beautiful old carousel in the smaller pipe would pass.
