Spectacular autumn colours are beginning to show at the Westonbirt Arboretum. In particular, the world famous acer glade glows in the sunlight as a rainbow of tones beam from every leaf on the Japanese Maples. Autumn appears to be starting early this year and it is predicited to be one of the best on record due to the long hot summer, visitors numbers to the national arboretum are expected to rise at this time of year so it is advised to come early, mid-week to fully appreciate the incredible show with less people. credit: Wayne Farrell/Alamy Live News
