It is one of the lar^'est of all i)eas, enormously i>r')(luctive, and its llavor and quality ' closely approach that of tlic well-kuowu Champion of England i*]vei'bearing. A first-class pea for summer and autumn use, pods three to four inches long, and contains six ^ to eight peas of rich flavor, very sweet and tender. Owing to its remarkable branching habit it remains in bearing an unusually long time; 2 feet 05 Iflmproved Champion of ICiigland. This is yet, by general consent, acknowledged to be the best of the late varieties. It is a tall-growing sort, attaining a height of five feet, and reciuires to be staked up. The tiods y and peas are of the largest size 05 FPride of the Market. A medium early dwarf pea of vigorous habit and very productive. The pods are largo, of a medium green color, and contain 7 to niuepeasof finequality. This variety willdoubtless come rapidly into favor ; 1>^ feet 05 ^McCullough's New Improved Telephone. Immensely productive, of the finest quality, and excellent sugar flavor; vines very strong, ^ averaging 18 to 20 pods per stalk ; the pods are of large size and closely packed with large, delicious Dcas; 4 feet '. 05 ng Island Mammoth. See specialties, 05 elegraph. It is a fine second early variety, very robust in habit, bearing immense pods. Peas often being so close together as to appear to be forming a double row in the pods.
