Weddell Seal Leptonychotes weddelli Class: Mammalia Order: Carnivora Family: Phocidae Young Seals leave mother at 2 to 3 months. Predators: Orca Whales and Leopard Seals. Their life under the 'Fast Ice' (that ice attached directly to land would tend to keep them largely away from their predators. Nikon F4 Film Camera used.
