Ban Ban Springs was a meeting place for the Wakka Wakka and various other tribes Queensland Australia


The natural springs were the first Queensland Aboriginal cultural heritage to be recognised on the register of the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act Ban Springs was also a meeting place for the Wakka Wakka and various other tribes. It was utilised as a pathway to the Bunya Mountains for the Bunya Festival, held every three years when the Bunya trees would ripen with fruit.
