Attendees of the National Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer (NEPLO) Conference tour the San Antonio-class Amphibious Transport Dock USS Somerset (LPD 25). The 2016 NEPLO conference is currently taking place at Naval Base Coronado. This portion of the conference is designed to provide familiarization of amphibious operations and showcase how they can support Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) and disaster response to EPLOs from all military services.
