Field Marshal Edwin von Manteuffel (1809 - 1885) - his personal seal, and a patriotic cloth of the Commander in Chief of the Army of Occupation in France 1871 - 1873, who because of his successes in the war was promoted to the rank of Field Marshal and was awarded the Grand Cross of the Iron Cross. Red agate, the seal surface with a finely carved "M" under crossed marshal's batons and baronial crown. Carved grip and pommel, height 70 mm. Also a linen cloth decorated with a map of France as well as the words to the well-known soldier's song of the Franco-Prussia,
