Head and thorax brownish grey; palpi black with some white irroration, on 2ud joint forming a patch at side, the tips of joints white ; frons with black band; antennae fuscous wdth pair of black spots at their base ; tegulse with pair of dorsal black spots and spots at sides ; patagia with spots at middle and tips ; meso- and meta- thorax with pairs of spots; pectus and legs yellow, the fore and mid tibiae grey, the former with two black spots, the latter with one spot, the tarsi black ringed with white; abdomen orange-yellow, the basal crests black, the two following segments with small dorsal and lateral black spots, the anal tuft black at tips. Fore wing with the costal area slate-brown, at middle extending to median nervure, narrowing to points at base and apex and angled at lower angle of cell and vein 5, defined below by sulphur-yellow from base to near apex, produced to short streaks beyond lower angle of cell and with a white fascia below it, the rest of wing violaceous browni; three small black spots at base followed by a curved series of three spots; an antemedial black bar above submedian fold and oblique line from the fold to inner margin; postmedial line represented by an oblique series of black strife in the interspaces between veins 7 and 3 oeyond the yellow, then by a double black line filled in with.
