Salzburg, Austria: From : "A sgrafitto sun dial painted to the outside of a tower at Rudolfskai. Most of the city walls in this area were demolished in the late 19th century to accommodate the increasing traffic in Salzburg. This gate has survived and is now inhabited. It can be seen between Mozartplatz and Mozartsteg. Most of Salzburg's city walls, locks, gates and other fortifications date back to the 17th century, when the 30-Years-War led to serious worries that the city might get looted.
