Penberth Cove is a small hamlet with a population of between 20-30 people, it is approximately 3 miles from Lands End, the cove is still home to a small fleet of working fishing boats, the boats are dragged clear of the sea up a cobbled slipway by means of a winch system which is mechanised, the original hand operated winch system is still in place as a testament to times gone by.
