Here we see the wrought iron gate to the main entrance of a house in West St Helens Street, one of the oldest parts of Abingdon in Oxfordshire. It takes its name from the Anglo Saxon Church at one end. Here, at first light, railings of the gate cast intriguing shadows on the cobblestone driveway.
