A view of the spectacular erosional landscape at Zabriskie Point in Death Valley National Park, California,USA. It is part of the Amargosa Range and features sediments from the Furnace Creek Lake which dried up 5 million years ago. The location was named after Christian Brevoort Zabriskie who was general manager of the Pacific Coast Borax Company in the early 20th. century.
