A Celtic long sword, middle La Tenè period, 3rd/2nd century Sword with the blade corroded into a largely intact iron scabbard. Narrow double-edged blade slightly bent at the point. Flat, characteristically curved guard. A mark stamped on one side of the tang. Sheet iron scabbard with a suspension hook on one side. The upper half is very well preserved, the lower is present only as fragments. Two raised decorative bosses near the point. Cleaned archaeological find.
